Action 1.2 Automation and robotization in SMEs

"Introduction of process innovations at BRATEX DACHY MRZYGŁÓD SPÓŁKA KOMANDYTOWA by robotizing the product packaging process and their visual quality control in the scope of non-standardized innovative products in the form of roofing sheets with a bent seam"

The aim of the project is to implement Industry 4.0 solutions in the areas of packaging and quality control, which will allow for increasing the level of automation of production processes and launching the production of a new innovative product – sheet metal placed on the seam.

The following activities are planned as part of the project:

• conducting a technology audit/digital maturity diagnosis and developing a digital transformation roadmap,
• purchase of a robotic technological line for packaging non-standard products,
• purchase of a vision system with AI software for product quality control,
• purchase of training in the installation and operation of new technologies.

As a result of the project, the following are planned to be implemented:

• process innovation – robotic packaging process tailored to the parameters of the individual order,
• process innovation – a vision quality control system based on artificial intelligence,
• product innovation – a new product on the domestic market: seam sheet metal.

Investments related to the launch of production of the new product will be carried out by the company itself – without the participation of external funds.

“DEVELOPMENT OF BRATEX DACHY SP. Z OO SP. K. AS A RESULT OF THE IMPLEMENTATION OF A DESIGN STRATEGY”

The main objective of the project: Increasing the competitiveness of BRATEX DACHY MRZYGŁÓD Sp. k. (formerly BRATEX DACHY SP. Z OO SP. K) on the market by implementing the recommendations indicated in the design strategy developed under Stage I of Measure 1.4 of OP EP.

The main objective of the project was achieved through the implementation of specific objectives:

extending the offer with a new product, i.e. gutter systems with a non-standard cross-section compared to those existing on the market, ensuring the distinctive character of the product,

implementation of marketing innovation,

implementation of process/organizational innovation,

implementation of technological innovation ensuring the implementation of a new product on the market.

The enterprise BRATEX DACHY MRZYGŁOD Sp. k. implemented a project co-financed from European Funds entitled "Increase in the competitiveness of BRATEX DACHY by introducing innovative hybrid roofing to the offer" under the Regional Operational Program of the Podkarpackie Voivodeship for the years 2014-2020, measure 1.4. Support for SMEs, Sub-measure 1.4.1. Direct grants.

Objective of the project: Increasing the competitiveness of BRATEX DACHY MRZYGŁÓD SP. K. on the market by launching an innovative product - a hybrid metal roof tile.
