Professional seam
Bratex Standing Seam is a set of components for building roofs and facades. The coating is made of specially selected metal alloys, with the use of appropriate accessories, necessary tools, machines and professional technical support. The roof or façade panel is made of steel, aluminum or zinc sheet. It ensures the highest tightness, durability and gives the surface a character incomparable to any other sheet metal covering.

Product description
Three types of material
The Bratex Standing Seam solution consists of three types of material - the strongest and most flexible steel, durable aluminum and classic zinc sheet. The choice of the appropriate type of sheet depends on the provisions in the design, the specificity of the facility or the investor's preferences.
Material: steel
Steel sheet produced by SSAB Sweden is an extremely durable material, resistant to exposure conditions, with low linear expansion, easy to process and install at temperatures as low as -15°C. It is available in a wide range of colors and varnished according to the patented GreenCoat Pro BT coating concept. It is extremely resistant to scratches, impacts with a steel roofing hammer, bending and stretching at various angles without the risk of cracking.
Material: aluminum
Aluminum sheet produced by HYDRO Norway is a metal of low weight and good machining properties. It is made of 3005 series aluminum alloy and metallurgically varnished in attractive color proposals.
Material: zinc
Sheet smelted from SHG zinc of the highest purity with an admixture of copper and titanium has the ability to be easily formed and adapted to the shape. It is available in three varieties - natural and chemically patinated in gray (Patyna Grey) or carbon (Patyna Carbon).
Standing Seam Components
Prefabricated panels for roof and facade applications are the basic product of the system. It is delivered directly from Bratex Dachy Mrzygłód as panels with locks on both sides for seaming. In addition to them, the company supplies such materials as: coil and flat sheets, professional assembly clips, foils, small and roof membranes. It is also possible to rent professional equipment (profilers, arch bending machines, lock felcars, seam finishing tools) at a symbolic price.
Freedom of forming and aesthetics of finish
The rebate sheet allows for various forms - it is very plastic and susceptible to processing, it can be used to make almost any detail and it is not subject to cracking. Its specificity allows for the execution of all finishing elements and roof shapes, including those with a decorated style, e.g. for sacral buildings.
Technical consultancy
As part of the Standing Seam solution package, we offer high-class technical advice in a wide range, including free assembly support on site. The consultancy includes, among others, application solutions in conjunction with the Standing Seam system (methods of substructure preparation, types of substrate, slope ventilation, the use of vapour-permeable, vapor barrier and separation membranes), or recommendations for maintenance and maintenance to maintain good condition of the roof or facade for many years after end of warranty period.

High-quality devices enable loading narrow sheet metal coils with a width of 230 - 850 mm and profiling locks for rebating on both sides with a cross-section identical to the prefabricated panels. The length of the panels is adjusted electromechanically/electronically, manual cross-cutting disc scissors, additionally longitudinal cutting in the Jouanel machine. Machine weight approx. 315/496 kg, power supply 230 V, power 1,1/1,5 kW, set includes a roller decoiler for sheet metal with a load capacity of 300 kg. The maximum weight of a coil for profiling on the construction site is 150 kg.
Bratex Dachy has two machines: Schlebach Mini-Prof-Plus and Jouanel Probac-HT.
A specialized device for creating gaps from rebating panels. Panel width range 300 – 800 mm, minimum radius for aluminum sheets 400 mm, for steel sheets 1500 mm. Machine weight 230 kg, power supply 230 V 1,1 kW.
A new generation folding machine with a light and compact design
construction, used to close the seam to the angular form or to the form of a double standing seam in heights of 25/32 or 38 mm. The powerful, two-speed motor is equipped with speed control, which allows for a maximum working speed of 14 m/min. The device can also close curved profiles with a minimum radius of 600 mm. The machine is equipped with electronic protection against leaving the track and wired remote control.
A professional shape cutter that finishes the seam at the eaves and more. It cuts the converging seam walls evenly in an arc, enabling their correct and aesthetic sealing.
BJARNES professional mounting clips
Standing Seam system panels are mounted to the substrate using fixed or sliding mounting clips. We offer professional, top-quality clips from the Swedish company BJARNES or the German REES.
Clips are made of galvanized carbon steel or stainless steel. Galvanized mounting clips are used only for steel panels, while stainless steel clips are used for steel, aluminum and zinc sheets.
The selection of clips depends on the type and cross-section of the substrate.
Foils, mats and roofing membranes
Depending on the cross-section of the substructure designed by the architect, different types of substrates are required for the sheet.
- A vapor barrier film that is an anti-humidity insulation.
- A vapor-permeable membrane, which is part of the ventilation system, filters water vapor on one side, which condenses on the underside of the panels.
- Separation mat (braid) with a height of several millimeters separating the Standing Seam panels from the ground, ensuring the required ventilation of the space (necessary for panels made of zinc sheet).
- Structural mat, consisting of a vapor-permeable membrane on the bottom and a separation mat, used to prevent condensation from penetrating the substrate on which the Standing Seam panels are laid.
