Among our top variants is SSAB GreenCoat with BT (Bio-based Technology) coating. It poses a lower burden on the natural environment by eliminating the release of harmful substances into the air. In the final paint coat, a large part of the petroleum compounds was replaced with Swedish rapeseed oil.

How they are built
our sheets
top layer
The final finish of the sheet. The high-quality organic varnish used here perfectly emphasizes the quality and aesthetic qualities of the product. Depending on the class of the product, the final varnish can have different properties.
Undercoat paint
Primer - Increases resistance to red or white rust (for aluminium). Its other important task is to improve the adhesion of the top layer.
Passive layer
Reliably cleans the zinc or aluminum-manganese-magnesium alloy coating, so that the next layer can be applied more effectively.
Zinc layer
Galvanizing protects the material against the negative effects of moisture, i.e. rust. Bratex sheets are covered on both sides with zinc protection with a weight of 275-350 g/m².
Steel or aluminum core
Sheet skeleton - its thickness, rolling, iron content in the ore and the share of other admixtures responsible for the durability and flexibility of the material.
Protective varnish
Standard finish of the underside of the roof sheet. SSAB sheets covered with epoxy varnish have a special print* that cannot be erased (e.g. with acetone).
* Marking printed by the paint shop on the underside of single-sided lacquered sheets is standard for sheets from SSAB. It is possible that some parts of the material may not be printed. Marking of sheets from other mills is not guaranteed.

Please read the following before and after purchasing the product Product Documentation. The recommendations contained therein will facilitate making the right decision regarding the product variant, logistics service and maintaining the warranty conditions.
Printing under epoxy varnish is a standard marking of SSAB and VOESTALPINE sheets. However, there are situations when the print does not appear on a given batch of goods, which is caused by technical conditions at the steelworks. However, it should be remembered that an unprinted product has the same quality and functional characteristics as a printed product. Lack of printing does not authorize refusal to accept the goods.
